What billing codes can I use with this camera?
Opticare AI does not bill patients. Our product is sold as an FDA-compliant standalone retina fundus camera. Please discuss with your payer for appropriate reimbursement for images from an FDA-compliant fundus camera. Please note that our reports are intended for use by medical professionals only.

Can I connect the camera to an external display?
Yes. Though we don’t publicize this. An external monitor can be connected through the mini HDMI port in the back.
The camera can also be operated and connected to a USB macro port. A Windows controller program is used to view and configure the camera. This is also not publicized.
How do I view the reports?
Patients must register before scanning. Practitioners can use our easy-to-use web portal to enter the patient’s name and other information. Optionally, the device can be configured with a QR code for direct scanning by the patient.
After scanning, the reports are delivered to the practitioner portal as a PDF for easy download and printing. If using the optional QR scan feature, the report will be delivered to the patient directly as a web page to phone or email.
